Easy Game

Group A match at Women’s 17 EHF Championship between Serbia and Bulgaria meant nothing. Serbia was already a semifinalist and Bulgaria will play against Latvia for 9-10 places.

Serbia excelled its rivals and won 44:16.

The best Player of Sebia team was Milica Pap (LB)  and the best among Bulgarians was Anita Kostadinova (RB).

Anita Kostadinova, the best player of Bulgaria: We played better then we did in the other matches but apparently it was not enough to win this game.

Milica Pap, the best player of Serbia: Todays game was a great preperation for the semi finals, because we were already first in the group. We played strongly from the first minute, we didn’t let them relax. Our defence was very good. I’m very proud of my teammates because we fought to the end and I hope for the best in the play-off round.

Marko Krstic, coach of Serbia: We played really well today, we prepared for the semi-final. We had a medical problem during the last 3 days and I want to thank the EHF and the doctors of the national team of Georgia because they helped us and now we are 100% ready for the semi-finals.
