Easy win of Switzerland
The last match of the day three at Women’s 17 EHF Championship was the game of group B: Finland vs Switzerland. Swiss won on first day and then had a rest day. Finland also played one game before and lost.
Since the Swiss are considered one of the favorites of the group and the tournament, no one was surprised that in the 9th minute they had already a big advantage 7:0. At the 15th minute the score was 12:1 and first half ended 25:5.
final result: 42:15
The best player of both teams were named goalkeepers Soraya Schhaller (Switzerland) and Stella Bruncrona (Finland).
Jürgen Fleischmann, Head Coach of Switzerland: It was a very good game, we practiced a lot for this game. We missed many chances, still we have a lot to work on. We played very well in the defence in the first half, the second half wasn’t as good as it.
Soraya Schhaller, the best player of Switzerland: I’m satisfied with the game, it was easy for us, I think the really hard games will come for us in the next days.
