The best player of team Lithuania was Silvija Mackonyte (LB), the scorer of 12 goals and the best from Georgians was Ana Chkhaidze (LW, 7 goals).
Rita Urnikiene, Head coach of Lithuania: This was our first game in the championship, girls really wanted to win but the first half was not easy, they still got back on track and won. I’m really proud of them.
Ina Chkuaseli, Head Coach of Georgia: Girls didn’t play in proper way. They were psychologically affected by the injury of Neno Jgerenaya at the beginning of the match. As for opponents, they played well. There were moments when we pressed but still more was needed.
