– What is the importance of the upcoming championship?
– The expectations of the National Serbian team for the upcomming championships in Georgia are that we try to accomplish the highest placement in the competition to win the first place and ensure the return to A division.

– How do you rate the chances of your team at this championship?
– This is the first competition of this generation, so we can’t rate the possibilities with insurance. The main goal is to establish the system which is represented in the A selection of our National team, then we can hope for success.

– How the preparation process is going on?
– We started with the preseason on 28 of june so that we have enough time to get ready for the beginning of the championships. The whole coaching staff of the National Serbian team is engaged  and it is very important to have the support of the Handball Federation of Serbia, which provided us with good conditions for work. All the players are motivated for work and we can’t wait for the championships to begin.

– Your prediction: The top 3 teams, which has the biggest chance to win the tournament
– It is ungrateful to predict which teams will win a medal. It’s for sure that all National teams want to play the best they can, especially the host Georgia. We will try to give our maximum and by that increase the chances for the highest ranking.
